    This is the Godfather of all travel sites. Consult frequently and thoroughly. The CDC is run by the Department of Health and Human Services of the U.S. federal government.

    This is an important site to check for a broad range of travel information, including entry/exit requirements, safety, warnings, health alerts and embassy information.

    This travel medicine site, from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, also contains a wealth of information.

    This site is a terrific general resource for travel health information.
  6. The Lonely Planet
    This guide has tips for most travel destinations on Earth.
